How to keep a boy?

I was a risk taking, frightening, naughty teenager. Well, I came good in the end. The upshot is, if Karma had anything to do with it, I deserved a kid like the one in Michele Fin Johnson’s story about DJ and his addictions.

I found this story while lurking among the many flash fiction journals online. The Conium Review grabbed my attention straight away.  Thoughtful and entertaining flash fiction.

DJ’s Addictions has a palatable sense of loss that I found heartbreaking.
