I have my son to thank for introducing me to Australian hip hop music. I dismissed all that rap crap because of some stigma associated with Gangsta Rap. I don’t even know what that is. But my son, being the obsessive that he is, when he in to something he is totally engaged and nothing else gets a look in, so I hear his songs and discover of course that hip hop music is essentially about words and story telling. It’s hard work though! Those guys roll out those words so damn fast.
